Description:
Identification Notes:
Cap: 1-3 cm across, convex to slightly umbonate; dull yellow-orange to yellow-brown; smooth, viscid. Gills: distant, broad; pale yellowish then purple-brown. Stem: 20-40 x 1-3 mm, equal; yellow; dry, with veil leaving a ring zone at apex. Flesh pallid becoming brownish in stem. Odor not distinctive. Taste not distinctive. Spores: purple-brown, ellipsoid.
